Beverley is blessed with two fine rings of ten mere minutes walking distance apart.
St. Mary's 10 dates from 1900 cast by Taylors and hung in an iron H frame. The bells were rehung in early 2005 to improve the rope circle and correct some problems with odd-struckness.

Records of bells at Howden go back to 1595 when five bells were installed. Few details are available of the early bells but in 1775 a new ring of 8 were cast by Pack and Chapman of London with a 27 cwt. tenor. Taylors recast the treble and tenor in 1869 and the fifth in 1909. On October 9th 1929 a disastrous fire destroyed everything in the tower. Taylors recast and rehung a lighter eight in 1932 which are regarded as being among the best in the country

Cast as a ring of 6 by Daltons of York in 1783. These were subsequently recast by Taylors in 1950 due to the tone of the originals being unsatisfactory. The bells were rehung in a new steel bellframe and augmented to 8 in 1979. Unusually all the bells still have their canons and the two new trebles were cast with canons to match the old bells.
